Jenny Peirson is honored to be joining the outstanding Del Mar Heights community.  She feels grateful to partner with such incredible people to help every child at Del Mar Heights ignite their personal genius! 

 

She was fortunate to serve as an educator in both primary and upper grades in Vista Unified School District. Jenny also served as a Teacher on Special Assignment, with an emphasis on Personalized Learning, Competency-Based Education, Balanced Assessment and professional learning. Ms. Peirson served as an Assistant Principal and Principal in Vista Unified. 

 

Ms. Peirson grew up in the San Diego area and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Diego State University and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California State University San Marcos. Jenny completed her Master of Curriculum and Instruction from American College of Education. 

 

Outside of school, Ms. Peirson enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Jenny recently became an aunt and loves spending time with her two month old niece, Leia. She loves to be outdoors, travel and spend time at the beach reading.

 

Jenny is amazed by the students, colleagues and families of the Heights. Ms. Peirson is excited to build relationships within the school community and to support the students, staff and parents of Del Mar Heights in the unrelenting pursuit of the extraordinary school experience.
