Kristy Campisi is thrilled to be joining the Del Mar Heights’ school and community as an Assistant Principal. As an experienced educator with a passion for developing her student’s curiosity and creativity, she brings with her a positive outlook and collaborative approach to teaching and learning. 

 

Prior to joining the Del Mar Union School District, Kristy worked as a teacher in elementary and middle school settings, as a Teacher on Special Assignment, and as an Assistant Principal in Sacramento. In these roles she developed a reputation for being a collaborative leader who was dedicated to providing exceptional educational experiences for all students. 

 

Outside of work, Kristy loves spending time with her husband and two daughters. They enjoy exploring new beaches and cooking family meals together. It is this sense of family that has driven her commitment to creating a nurturing and supportive environment for students and staff. 

 

Kristy is inspired by the Heights’ community and the Del Mar Union School District. She is committed to the district mission of igniting genius and empowering students. Kristy is looking forward to continuing to build relationships and making a positive impact on students and families for years to come.
