Since 1965, Del Mar Heights School has served students from kindergarten through 6th grade.

How many students are in each class?
In kindergarten through third grade, each class has a maximum of 22 students. In grades four through six, the maximum number of students is 28.

The student population changes each year. Currently, Del Mar Heights has approximately 460 students in attendance.

On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays the school day is from 8:00am to 2:30pm. On Wednesdays, students are dismissed at 12:30pm.

The best in the world! We have a committed and experienced teaching staff. On average, our teachers have taught at Del Mar Heights for more than 13 years. Among our teaching staff, 100% have completed Post-Baccalaureate work with the majority of our staff holding Master’s Degrees.
What opportunities are available for parent involvement?
What opportunities are available for parent involvement?
Parent volunteers are welcome any time, for an hour or even a whole day. We have many opportunities for parents to volunteer in classrooms or with the PTA. If you wish to volunteer please register with the front office and provide a valid negative TB test.
